Dubai Internet City (DIC) has announced that Microsoft Gulf will be a DIC strategic partner at the Gitex Technology Week 2010 to be held next month.
The leading technology major will showcase its new generation of technology innovations for consumers at Dubai Internet City's concourse pavilion at the event scheduled to be held from October 17-21.
In addition to Microsoft, the DIC pavilion will also host industry leaders Hewlett Packard (HP) and Yahoo! Maktoob.

Visitors to the Microsoft stand on concourse will have the opportunity to envision how information technology will transform our day to day lives for the better, he said.

Microsoft will showcase emerging and future trends for today's digital lifestyle and how technology helps connect the PC, Phone and TV. Cloud based applications such as Windows Live and Office Live as well as Microsoft's upcoming browser - Internet Explorer 9 will be demonstrated to the public.
The highly anticipated controller-free gaming system - Kinect for Xbox 360 -- will be unveiled to the public in addition to Windows Phone 7, touchscreen and sensor based technologies, and the latest PC devices and prototypes running the Microsoft Windows platform.
In addition to its presence with DIC on the concourse, Microsoft will also be within Business Solutions Hall 7 to present its cloud and enterprise solutions. -- TradeArabia News Service
