Residents of Emgekchil village protest against Chinese gold mining company.

Around 300-400 residents of Emgekchil village, Naryn oblast, participated in the rally on Buchuk and Solton-Sary deposits on August 26. Their main demand was to recall licenses for development of the gold deposit and to hand over this license to a local firm.
